An elderly person with a heart anxiety, Matthew and his sister Marilla lived together on Prince Edward Island. In order to continue farming, they take the boy from the orphanage and try to help them. However, they go orphanage and there are red hair girl. The child's name is Anne, and they try to bring Anne back to the orphanage and have a new boy, but when they hear Anne's innocent personality and her background, they decide to raise Anne. Anne is red hair and is ridiculed by her classmates at school.
