One Day

This book is written by Helen Naylor and the consists of 9 chapters. A family of four living near a town in England. One Friday evening in March at six pm. The same calm day as usual. It depicts the events that occur in each family. 

The story of the chapter 1, Jason wants to go to an art school. Jason has a childhood friend, Maria. Looking back at Maria's old photos, he recall his father's departure on his fifth birthday, however he accepts it and looks forward. Jason's mother worries about the whereabouts of Jason and Maria by going to leave the city. However Jason is full of hope if he can do it well. Jason thinks that he doesn't separate like his parents. So, Jason goes out to meet Maria. Immediately after that, she receives a somewhat disturbing phone call from Maria.

Chapter 2, the story of David and his wife, Nina. David works in a restaurant and is doing well. Nina works in bank. Nina can be promoted, but she has to move. David and Nina are conflict.

Next, Maggie has had a good relationship with Xavier, who she met on her trip to Chile, even after returning to Japan, but is still worried bout his love during the vacation. One day Xavier tells Maggie that come to England.

Chapter 4, Sam does the job she wants to do, but she is worries about her salary and money. One day her daughter tall Sam that she wants to take part in study trip but Sam doesn't enough money. Sam help her brother but he doesn't help her. 

From Chapter 5, the continuation of the first family' story. It was very interesting.
